RE-BOOT a daily practice - The Cassette Library

We often search for new things because they inspire us to create something fresh. But what if we let ourselves be inspired by the things we do on a daily basis instead, and check these out from various angles and with a different focus; to be curious about these!

RE-BOOT a daily practice; are easy and fun, very short (5 to 10 min), guided movement explorations where you will explore the simple actions we all do multiple times a day. Each lesson explores a different angle into the same basic movements.

With this library Judith van der Made wants to create space within a space for you to zone out and zoom in.

You can pick and listen to any of the tapes, you can follow the guidelines or just listen, it's all up to you !

Lessons made by Judith van der Made,
inspired by the Feldenkrais method and LUDIC collective.
Artwork is made by Patricia Vane.
Music/jingle is made by An3 van de Kuit

To carry something back - Pat Janeiro & Renata Daguerre (NL/DE)
loop installation, 2023

‘To carry something back’ comes out as the first impression of Janeiro and Daguerre’s collaboration on a multi-layered experimental fiction film inspired by queer aesthetics.

In this iteration of the work, a mysterious character named Enrico appears from out of a canal, embodying a prophetic half swan half human being. Swans and swan feathers, their strength, hostility, beauty, and transforming features are present throughout the piece.

For the presentation at S/ash gallery, ‘To carry something back’ is shown in the shape of a short film loop installation.

Imagined by Pat Janeiro & Renata Daguerre
Inspired by folk tales and real life
