‘LANG’ (浪), meaning waves, is a film installation consisting of one 54 meter long 16mm film loop running through 8 synced projectors, projecting 8 different parts of the film simultaniously as a 180-degree panorama. It’s a collaborative project with Nico Komen, who designed and modified the projection system.

Different moments disappear and reapper, different moments come together to form a new moment, constantly in motion, any ending leading to a new beginning, a unique visual experience of time and space is created with a decomposing and recomposing landscape inspired by the cycle of construction and deconstruction in nature.
