Optical printers

Filmwerkplaats houses a JK 103 and A JK 106 16mm optical printer.

Optical effects printers can be used for reproduction, blow-up or reduction duplication, and can transform the image in copying. Magnification, freezing and speeding up film transport, lateral movement and rotation, superimposition, varying exposure and multiple passes are all possible with optical printing techniques.
