Colour analysis and timing

A color analyzer enables filmmakers to measure the light intensities of different colours in film negatives and relate these measurements to aim values for timed printing, to produce consistent duplicates and prints with the desired tone and colour reproduction characteristics.

The Eastman Video Color Analyzer at Filmwerkplaats is not currently in working condition, and so we are looking for any technical information that could enable us to repair the machinery. Please get in touch if you can offer any assistance.
